We do not recommend baking our Bite-Sized Edible Cookie Dough [flavor/products]. It does not contain eggs or leavening agents, which are key ingredients in developing texture and lift in baked cookies. (If needed) Exposure to high oven temperatures will cause the product to liquefy and possibly burn.
CAN EDIBLE COOKIE DOUGH BE BAKED? Because this recipe contains no eggs or leavening, it won’t bake up like a regular cookie would.
And then use the baked flour in the above recipe. The cookie dough doesn’t need to be refrigerated – although it will remain firmer if kept in the fridge. It is best to eat the dough within 2-3 days. The dough can also be frozen, for 2-3 months.
Eating raw cookie dough can result in gastrointestinal illness that may even lead to hospitalization in extreme cases. However, the potential illnesses are not generally caused by intestinal parasites such as worms, which are far more common in meats.

Is Cookie Dough ice cream bad for you?
Most cookie dough in ice cream is safe to eat because the flour has been heat-treated and the eggs pasteurized, thus protecting you from such foodborne illnesses as E. coli and salmonella that could be found in homemade cookie dough.
Edible cookie dough should not be left out of the fridge for more than two hours. Leaving perishable food at a temperature of 40-140F for over two hours increases the chance of sickness resulting from bacteria growth.
It might taste delicious, but eating raw cookie dough really can make you sick. Raw eggs can be contaminated with salmonella and raw flour can contain E. coli.
Raw or undercooked eggs can harbor salmonella bacteria and potentially cause food poisoning. That means eating raw cookie dough and batter for cakes, pancakes, pizza and other treats isn’t safe — especially during pregnancy.
Homemade cookie dough should be stored in small containers in the refrigerator for two to four days or freeze for two months. Alternatively, small quantities of dough can be frozen and thawed in the refrigerator as needed.
